Foley
Just a short drive to the Gulf, the city of Foley is the hub of southern Baldwin County.
The city was established in 1915 by Chicago-native John B. Foley. The entrepreneur used his big city money to form a railroad running through the city -- putting Foley on the map. It also became very successful in agriculture.
Rather than living in its past, the "Forward City" is always striving for a economically prosperous tomorrow. The city has numerous attractions, including a water and amusement park, outdoor mall, numerous chain restaurant, and many local events and locations that make Foley the unique, bustling place the city has become.
