Fun at Foley PD

Balloon Festival 2024
Hangout Festival 2024
Career Day Mathis 2024

Foley PD officers work one of the largest events in the city, The Hot Air Balloon Festival. Our officers patrol the grounds of OWA, surveying the area and interacting with the civilians.

Our department also helps in patrolling Hangout Festival. This event usually involves our officers assisting at the check-in gates, patrolling the perimeter, monitoring for illegal substances, and also surveying the crowd inside the event looking for those in need of assistance.

Along with working in our local schools as SROs, we also attend events at the school, like Career Day, to bring excitement to our profession at a young age. We love any opportunities to work with the younger generations!

Foley Forensic Seminar
Foley Kids Camp

Each year in October, the Foley Police Department holds a Forensic Seminar that is free to all first responders, medical personnel, and attorneys. It is a three day event with guest speakers based on the theme for that year.

Organized by us and the Foley Fire Department, Foley Kids Camp is a program established to promote a positive interaction between the children of Foley and their PD and FD. The purpose is to build life skills, instill confidence and develop self-esteem. It includes a collaborative effort by both departments to help supply our youth with the knowledge in a fun and safe environment. The program is structured to be fun, informative and challenging.
